Creating New Questions
The question format in Trivia Burst is very flexible. Rather than being
locked into a simple "question and 4 answers" text question, Trivia Burst allows
for images in the question and answer and flexible regions where the answer
'click zone' is located. This allows for everything from text only
questions to questions where there is no text at all.
To make the process of adding questions as easy as possible a question editor
is built into the Trivia Burst client. You create the question and answer,
as well as assign attributes that can be used for scheduling of the question or
selection for special topic rounds. You can also include notes and a URL
for the Question Editors to see when they review your submission.

- Run the TrayGames Manager if you havent already, and connect.
- Click the play button nest to the game TriviaBurst Game in the Games
List.
- Select the Create questions for Trivia Burst Button form the Welcome
Panel.
- This will display the Trivia Burst Preferences Form which you will use
to create your Question.
Now before you go much further youll need a basis for your question. The
internet is great for research. For example: lets ask the question: who
painted Guernica?
http://www.pbs.org/treasuresoftheworld/guernica/gmain.html
We start by including an image. It is not required for this question, which
will be all text, but it may make a question more interesting. With the
Question tab selected Click on the
Image
button on the Left hand side, then click the Image load button below. Note:
Images must be exactly the size of the Question canvas 380x230.

Now we need to add our actual question text.
Click the
Region
button. When you move your mouse over the Question canvas it will change to a
cross.
On the Canvas click and drag a region as indicated by the light green dashed
box:

Now type the question:

Now that youve got a text region on the canvas, youll notice a panel at the
bottom which you can use to assign properties to this text.

It defaults to simple meaning its just text, not a right or wrong
answer. And Display for Question, which means it shows up on the question canvas
but not on the answer canvas.Lets change the Display for property so that our
question shows up on both.
