How to Play

In Spell Combat you'll have to think of as many words as you can with the letters provided against the clock. You'll be playing against lot's of other people in the TrayGames network. Games are played in regular rounds, every 3 minutes.  When you first start the game client you will have to wait a moment for the next round to begin.  The time remaining until the next round will count down. 

When the round starts the music will change, the game interface will be cleared, and a new set of letters will arrive.

All the words that can be made with the available letters have been calculated when the game starts.  Each of these words is represented at the left side of the game interface.  Once the game starts you must start entering words using the letters provided. As you enter words and they are correct the words will replace the yellow dots on the left side of the screen.

Scoring

Common American words, including plurals and conjugated forms, are included in the Spell Combat word list. Words must be at least 3 letters long, no points will be given for 2 letter words. The more letters you can use in a word the more points you will get:

3 letter word = 30 points
4 letter word = 50 points
5 letter word = 80 points
6 letter word = 120 points
7 letter word = 200 points
