Manual Uninstall

You should only uninstall manually if the automatic install does not work.  The automatic uninstall should never fail, so if you experience a problem with it we ask that you please report to us exactly what happened.

Manual removal is simple.  You will delete the directory that contains all of the TrayGames client and game files, and remove registry settings used by the TrayGames client to store your preferences, and used by Windows to know how and when to run the client.

Registry

To edit your registry hold down the "Start" key on your keyboard and press R.  This will display the "Run" dialog.  Type "regedit" into this dialog and press enter or OK.  The Registry editor has two panes, at the left is a tree containing the structure of the registry, at the right is a listing of values (if any) contained in each node of the tree.

Look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and press the + or arrow next to it to expand it.  You will see several sub-nodes, open the SOFTWARE one.  Inside that node you will see a list of manufacturer names for all the programs installed on your computer.  If you see one for "TrayGames" select it and click on it with the right mouse button, pick "Delete" from the menu.  That removed the registry entries used by the TrayGames client.

Now look for the "Microsoft" node in the same place, and open it and the following nodes; Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, Run.  When you click on the Run node you should see "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the regedit window.  In the right hand pane you will see entries for all the programs that are run automatically when your computer starts.  Look for the item with the name "TrayGamesClient".  Right click on it and choose delete.  You may now close regedit.

Files

Programs on your computer are installed in the "Program Files" directory which is typically on your C: drive.  Explore to this directory.  You will see directories named for programs and manufacturers.  Locate the folder "TrayGames" and delete it.  That removed the TrayGames client program and any games you may have downloaded.
