Can you give me detailed system requirements?
The major software requirements are DirectX 9 and .NET 2.0 on Windows XP
(with SP2) or Vista. If your computer is not Windows XP (or Vista), you
will not be able to use TrayGames. If you do not have a DirectX 9 capable
video card with appropriate video drivers installed, you will not be able to
play the games. The minimum CPU is a Pentium III at 600 Mhz, and
256 MB of RAM. Nearly any computer
purchased in the last 5 years, and any computer that was purchased with Windows
XP as the original operating system, is generally capable of running all TrayGames
games with no problem, provided it has a Direct3D 9 capable video card.
See the
Troubleshooting FAQ for more information about DirectX and video cards.
SP2 (Service Pack 2), DirectX and .NET 2.0 are all upgrades to Windows that
are available free from Microsoft.
How long will installation take?
That depends on how recently your computer has been updated. On the
latest Windows Vista and a broadband connection installation takes about 45
seconds. On a Windows XP computer that does not have .NET 2.0 or
DirectX 9 installed it will add from 5 to 30 minutes to first time
installation depending upon the speed of your Internet connection and your
computer. If your computer already has the required Windows updates it
will install in 1 or 2 minutes on a broadband connection.
