Game Interface

The current player is indicated by a glow or a light patch behind their hand of cards.  When it is your turn you will have the glow plus your pass and play buttons will be blinking, unless you have no valid move in which case your play button will be disabled.

You can toggle the sort of your cards by suit or face value with the sort button.  To select cards to play click on them, selected cards will be shifted up slightly.  Once you have selected the card or set of cards to play select the Play button.

You can text chat with the other players in the chat area at the right of the screen. You can also toggle the theme music, game sounds, or Auto-Pass feature by clicking on the buttons in the lower right of the game window.

Auto-Pass button

You can click on the smiley icon (above your Player Avatar) to let everyone know how you're feeling. When you click on your smiley a selector (shown right) will pop up showing you other available smileys. Whichever smiley you choose will be shown to all of the other players along with a sound. So feel free to express yourself!

At the end of each round the total points for that round will be totaled and added to the scores in the Current Score table.

You are the lead player if you have the 3 of diamonds in your hand, or if after you play a set of cards the other three players pass.  When you are first learning to play you may not always recognize this condition right away so the Pass button will be disabled when it is your lead. At other times you must try to follow the current play with a set of the same number of cards but with higher value. If you can't follow the Play button will be disabled.

The Cheat Sheet

You can get a cheat sheet help screen at any time during the game by pressing the ? button in the upper right part of the caption bar. This provides a fast way to remember the rules as well as the ranking value of the different Big Two Poker hands.
