Game Interface
Your player name and the color of your checkers are indicated in the caption bar at the top of the
game window. When it is your turn you will be notified by a message
in the status bar at the bottom of the window. The bear-off bar
(located above the status bar) is only used when bearing off checkers.
Throughout the game the status bar will offer relevant information and tips.
To start your turn just click anywhere on the board, this will simulate a
dice roll. After your dice appear you may make your move(s). To move just left click
on your color checker and drag it over the point you wish to move to, and drop
the checker by releasing the mouse button.
A special checker called a glow checker (shown right) will
appear on the point you hover over if you can make a legal move there. If you try
an illegal move then the checker will not be placed and you will have to try again as
indicated by the status bar. Note that if you have a large stack of checkers on a point
you must grab the checker you wish to move from the bottom of the stack.
To move a checker off of the bar, simply click on the checker on the bar,
then drag it to the point that you wish to enter it. To bear-off a checker you must click
on the checker you wish to bear-off, then drag it to the bear-off bar.
As each die is used in a legal move it will appear faded to indicate that it may no longer be used.
At the end of your turn the dice will disappear and control will be turned over to your
opponent. You can pass your move at any time by clicking on any unused die.
You may offer a draw by clicking on the Draw button but your opponent will
have to accept your offer for the game to be called a draw. You may also resign at any time by
clicking the Resign button.

You can text chat with the other player in the chat area at the right of the screen. You can also
toggle the theme music or game sounds by clicking on the buttons in the lower right of the game
window. After a game is finished either player can request a new game by clicking the New Game
button.
